Rockstar has now named six major locations across Leonida, the state in which GTA VI takes place. Vice City is the best-known destination, but the official material also reaches tropical islands, wetlands, an industrial town, a faded resort coast and a vast national park.

Rockstar has not published a complete labelled map or confirmed the world's exact size. This guide therefore sticks to the six regions it has officially revealed and keeps fan maps, leaks and speculation out of the confirmed facts.

01Vice City

Confirmed by Rockstar

Vice City is Leonida's neon-lit urban centre, combining beaches, high-rise districts, nightlife and crowded streets. Official footage shows everything from luxury towers and waterfront roads to dense neighbourhoods and busy entertainment areas.

Reasonable inference

Vice City appears likely to be the main hub for Jason and Lucia's story, with the widest concentration of businesses, missions and public activity. Rockstar has not yet explained how individual city districts will be divided or unlocked.

02Leonida Keys

Confirmed by Rockstar

The Leonida Keys form a tropical chain of islands linked by long bridges and surrounded by open water. Rockstar's images feature boats, a seaplane, beach bars, diving and marine life, while Jason's official profile connects his past to local drug runners in the Keys.

Reasonable inference

The geography looks suited to water-based travel, smuggling routes and activities away from the city. That does not confirm a dedicated diving or trafficking system, but the islands should give boats and aircraft a more meaningful role in moving around Leonida.

03Grassrivers

Confirmed by Rockstar

Grassrivers is Leonida's untamed wetland region, filled with mangroves, shallow waterways and dangerous wildlife. Rockstar presents it as a place where the environment itself can be a threat and unusual discoveries sit beyond the main roads.

Reasonable inference

Airboats and smaller craft may be essential here, and the difficult terrain could create a very different kind of pursuit from Vice City. A full hunting or wildlife progression system has not been confirmed.

04Port Gellhorn

Confirmed by Rockstar

Port Gellhorn is a faded destination on Leonida's forgotten coast. Its old motels, shuttered attractions and empty retail spaces reflect a resort town that has fallen on hard times, while dirt bikes and a rougher local economy give it a distinct identity.

Reasonable inference

The town's abandoned spaces and coastal roads look well suited to lower-level criminal work, dirt-bike events and hideouts. Rockstar has not announced which activities will be exclusive to the area.

05Ambrosia

Confirmed by Rockstar

Ambrosia is an industrial community built around the Allied Crystal sugar refinery. Rockstar describes the refinery as the town's major source of jobs, while the Final Chapter motorcycle club holds its own influence over the surrounding area.

Reasonable inference

The combination of heavy industry, sugarcane fields and an established biker gang suggests a setting for faction conflict and supply-chain crime. Neither a territory system nor a business-management mechanic has been confirmed.

06Mount Kalaga National Park

Confirmed by Rockstar

Mount Kalaga National Park lies in Leonida's northern reaches and offers wilderness, rivers and extensive trails. Rockstar specifically highlights hunting, fishing and off-road routes, alongside remote communities living beyond the state's busier centres.

Reasonable inference

Mount Kalaga could provide GTA VI's biggest contrast to Vice City, with long-distance exploration and activities built around the natural landscape. Its exact position, scale and connection to the other regions remain unknown until Rockstar publishes a full map.

Has Rockstar released the full GTA 6 map?

No. The six locations above are official, but Rockstar has not released a complete map showing their precise boundaries, road network or distances from one another. Community maps can be useful attempts to interpret trailers and screenshots, but they should not be presented as the final shape or scale of Leonida.

How the six regions fit together

What Rockstar has confirmed is variety rather than exact geography. Vice City supplies the dense metropolitan centre; the Keys and Grassrivers open the world onto water; Port Gellhorn and Ambrosia add smaller communities with different economies; and Mount Kalaga extends the game into northern wilderness.

That range matters because it gives the story, vehicles and activities room to change as players travel. For a closer look at what those systems may involve, read our ten details from the Extended Look, or check the confirmed release date and platform guide.
